When a Rakhi Crossed Borders, But the Bond Never Felt Far Away

For Shikha, this Raksha Bandhan was going to be different. Her brother Arjun Gupta had recently started a new job in Abu Dhabi and had flown away to begin this exciting new chapter of his life. It was his first Raksha Bandhan away from home, and while everyone was happy about his new beginning, there was a little emptiness knowing that he wouldn’t be there to celebrate the festival with his sister.

Shikha wanted to make sure that distance did not come between them. She carefully chose a Rakhi and sent it to us with just one request...

“Please make sure it reaches my brother on time.”

For her, it wasn’t just a parcel. It carried years of childhood memories, countless fights and laughter, and the special bond that only a brother and sister can share.
